CP Bourg offers the BST-d+.
The plus symbol stands for a new collator with improved user-friendliness
and a simplified access to the advanced features of the original BST-d. This
is made thanks to the addition of a touch screen on the tower. The touch
screen displays a colourful interface with self-explaining icons that
provide a clear and immediate view on the collator status and configuration.
A standard job can be easily
programmed by pressing a single button. All settings are automatically
adjusted but can be fine-tuned when necessary. For more complex jobs, the
programming is not more complicated. All functions
available are displayed and the enable/disable status of each function can
be checked at first glance.

More Improvement
The touch screen is the most
noticeable item of the new BST-d+. Anyway there are other
interesting aspects of the machine that have been improved :
l The
air blower and the vacuum levels can be adjusted while the collator runs.
l The
sheet feeding sequence within the Insert mode or during a Combo sequence has
been optimised for an improved productivity. Now a Combo can have up to 18
sequences of collating jobs in a row (9 only on the BST-d).
l Programs
can be saved with names and a job description. There can be hundreds of
programs saved and recalled in the memory (9 programs numbers only in the
BST-d).
Finishing Equipment
The BST-d+ shares the same electronic interface as the
conventional BST-d. Therefore any accessory suitable to the BST-d fits to
the BST-d+ as well. Amongst them, the C/C Jogger, the TD-Stacker,
the AGR-t/PA-t/TR-t manually set stitch-fold-trim unit, the BDF and the SBM4
automatically set stitch-fold-trim units. Nevertheless the BDF and the SBM4
automatic stitch-fold-trim units fit better to the versatile BST-d+.
